I’M CRYING OK yes yeS YES it’s true my favourite style of art is pixel art and this is SO WONDERFUL I’M JUST ??? WOW YOUR PIXEL LINES ARE SO SMOOTH I AM SO ENVIOUS. I really love Thomas’ ears and fluff and tiny paws and tiny pawpads and the wings?? AND THE HEARTS??? I’M?? CRYING????? THE ANIMATION IS SO SO SO SO CUTE I’M GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK LOL SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE AND ALSO AN ADULT I NEED ADULT SUPERVISION RIGHT NOW oh my god falling to my knees falls to elbows screeching like a pteradactyl I can’t get over how well synchronised the animation is?!?!? And how smooth it is and everything?? Haha god i could watch this 5eva. I really love that patched heart and the texture of it, and Thomas’ halo, and just the really lovely vibrant, soft colours you’ve used!! You have the absolute cutest style and I think it really suits Thomas very well.

Sakurai doesn’t want to make Uprsing sequel

“If by ‘lasting universe’ you mean to ask if there’s a sequel, the answer is no because we pushed a lot into the game in order to let people have this short yet deep experience, but the novelty of that would likely grow thin in the next game. For now, my thought is that perhaps we’ll see someone else besides me make another Kid Icarus in another 25 years.” - Masahiro Sakurai

While of course I’m sad to hear that (at least at this point in time) Sakurai doesn’t want to be the one to make a sequel, it isn’t all bad. For one thing, I’m pretty sure he is joking about the whole 25 years thing; we’ll probably see another game sooner or later XD Though of course that’ll be at least a few years from now at the very very least.

But in all seriousness I think he’s sorta right about how it won’t feel so special if a sequel is made too soon. Like Mario is is really overused and sorta annoying because just how much it’s used over and over without any creativity/innovation; it’s just the same thing over and over.If the series does go to someone else for the next game I really hope they can do the series (and Uprising) justice; would hate to go in with super high expectations only to come out really disappointed because it didn’t measure up to the previous. D: Maybe this is just wishful thinking but I hope after he’s done with the next Smash Bros games he might change his mind on this since I bet if his team made the sequel it’d be awesome ;u;

Quick recap of the recent Nintendo Direct

Sorry I’m so inactive guys I’ve been pretty busy and lol I’m sorry Uprising is taking up the majority of my free time XD

I don’t have time to recap everything or even like how I used to do before so I’m just gonna post about the stuff that’s major/stuff you guys are probably interested in hearing about:

3DS system update on April 25th will add ability to organize Home menu with folders, game patching
Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Idol card packs are gonna be sold in Europe via Panini
At some point and time New Super Mario 2 for 3DS was announced I believe Animal Crossing was given a autumn 2012 release date in Japan, various big games were mentioned/given trailers/etc, Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection for Wii announced, 2 new Pokemon B/W apps coming to eShop (I believe these are gonna cost money though as I saw Japanese prices listed on a site I was looking at)

I got a few bits of Uprising related stuff I ought to post as well in a sec. I’m still slowly compiling/reading through all the reviews which I plan and making a big roundup post of later (AKA probably a long time from now), but I’ll see about catching up with the smaller bits of news. Again so sorry bout being so slow OTL
